About Us
Asians & Friends - North Carolina, Inc. (AFNC)
Section 1.
The purpose of Asians and Friends - North Carolina shall be:
- To bring together Asians, Asian-Americans, and non-Asians interested in developing an understanding and appreciation of Asian cultures.
- To foster and promote an increased understanding between gay and lesbian Asians and non-Asians.
- To create friendship through cultural, social and educational activities.
Section 2.
AFNC shall forever remain a not-for-profit organization. Events are scheduled periodically throughout the year to socialize and to have fun. One of the events that are
regularly scheduled is participation at the various Pride-related events/parades throughout North Carolina in order to increase visibility of the Chapter.
